Making Impactful Changes
Challenge: My client chose to build their core values around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, which are widely adopted by companies globally. However, we needed to acknowledge that while these standards are prevalent in the business world, not all individuals are familiar with or prioritize them.
Solution: This presentation has been carefully prepared to be shared with clients ahead of their one-on-one consultation session, with the goal of ensuring that they are well-informed about the client's company's foundational beliefs. Its purpose is to provide clients with a comprehensive understanding of the client's core values and beliefs before their consultation, fostering a deeper engagement and alignment during the session.
Challenge: The Lemur Conservation Network focuses on saving endangered lemur species through education, partnerships, and promotion of conservation groups. With 98% of lemur species at risk, their efforts play a crucial role in preserving Madagascar's forests and biodiversity. Interconnected ecosystems call for serious conservation endeavors and support to safeguard these unique primates and their habitats.
Solution: In collaboration with Lemur Conservation Network's cofounder and a lemur subject matter expert, I created a storyboard, script, and Vyond video to raise awareness about the significance of lemur conservation. While lemurs' cuteness captures attention, it is crucial to understand that their preservation plays a pivotal role in safeguarding Madagascar's forests and diverse species. The educational video aims to enlighten learners about the interconnectedness of ecosystems and how supporting lemur conservation efforts can lead to broader ecological benefits.

Challenge: The Lemur Conservation Network is dedicated to rescuing endangered lemur species by means of education, partnerships, and endorsing conservation groups. Given that 98% of lemur species face peril, their work assumes vital importance in upholding Madagascar's biodiversity and preserving its forests. In response to the imperative of interconnected ecosystems, robust conservation measures and assistance are imperative to protect these distinctive primates and their habitats. Though armed with seed dispersal cards, LCN found a need for precise instructions for autonomous deployment, prompting the involvement of a trained instructor to guide instructional sessions.
Solution: In partnership with the SME and co-founder of the Lemur Conservation Network, I developed a comprehensive facilitator's guide. This guide serves as a valuable resource for instructors, offering clear instructions on effectively utilizing the seed dispersal cards while also promoting an understanding of the critical importance of lemur conservation. While the undeniable charm of lemurs draws attention, it is imperative to recognize their role as key guardians of Madagascar's precious forests and its rich biodiversity. This educational activity is designed to illuminate the intricate web of ecosystems, underscoring the far-reaching ecological advantages that stem from supporting lemur conservation initiatives.

Challenge: Therapy Dog Group ABC has an extensive set of rules and regulations spanning across 10 pages, posing a challenge for new handlers who visit facilities with their registered therapy dogs: The sheer volume of information can be overwhelming, making it difficult for them to remember all the necessary guidelines.
Solution: To address this issue, a specially designed 2-sided card has been created to accompany the handlers' ID badges, securely attached to a lanyard. This card serves as a quick reference guide, helping new handlers prepare for their visits and remember key rules and guidelines. By having this card readily accessible, new handlers can easily familiarize themselves with important information, ensuring they adhere to the necessary protocols during their therapy dog visits. This practical tool enhances the overall experience for both handlers and the facilities they visit, promoting a smoother and more enjoyable therapy dog interaction.

Challenge: One of the pressing issues in Georgia is the escalating number of dogs finding themselves in overcrowded shelters. Tragically, even after being adopted, a considerable portion of these dogs do not find a lasting home and are either returned to the shelters or abandoned. This distressing situation pervades the entire state, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and action. Furthermore, local adopters frequently approach the adoption process with impractical expectations of the pets they hope to bring home, further exacerbating the problem.
Solution: I developed this self-paced e-learning course aimed at educating potential adopters on creating a practical checklist for their desired traits in a new dog. This comprehensive course focuses on three key considerations: sociability, coat types and cleanliness, and energy levels. By providing valuable insights and guidance on these aspects, the course empowers individuals to make informed decisions when adopting a furry companion. Through interactive lessons and engaging content, learners will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to assess their lifestyle and preferences, ultimately leading to successful and fulfilling dog adoptions.
